Hair salon owners are in a frenzy to get their clients’ hair ready for the season and that’s not going to stop.
According to the Hair Association, the market for beauty products is expected to grow from $12.7 billion in 2019 to $25.5 billion in 2021.
This year, the number of beauty products on sale in the U.S. is expected grow from 8.2 million to 10.9 million products.
However, the biggest growth driver for the beauty industry is the growing demand for facial and body products, which is expected at $5.5 trillion by 2021.
“With the growing popularity of beauty in our homes and offices, we have the opportunity to offer the latest and greatest products and services to our customers and clients,” said Karen Gannon, chief marketing officer of Beauty Brands.
“It’s about finding new ways to create new products and create new ways of interacting with customers to meet the needs of their customers.”
This is the fourth annual Beauty Brands conference in Los Angeles and the first in California.
The conference, which takes place this week, will focus on trends and the future of the beauty market.
