Posted August 19, 2019 11:31:03A man from Japan was so inspired by the beauty of nail polishes that he decided to make them a permanent part of his hair.
The man, whose real name is Tetsuya Yamaguchi, posted a photo of his freshly manicured nails on Instagram and said he decided it would be a nice change of pace from the day he picked up a nail salon.
After getting a few of his nails manicured, he told Japanese media that he found the process very enjoyable.
“I have always been a nail artist and I started doing it because I wanted to show people the beauty and uniqueness of nail art,” he said.
“It’s something I enjoy to do and I can’t stop doing it.”
Yamaguchi added that he hopes to start making other types of nail accessories, such as hairbands and earrings, permanent in the future.
“With this, it’s more likely that we will get more attention from people,” he told AFP.
“But it’s not only about me.
If we can encourage people to take up nail art, it will have a positive impact on society.”
